Day 01 : Flight Kathmandu - Lukla (2840 m); trek to Phakding (2610 m) 5 hrs
We will fly to Lukla today. The flight will be short and present us scenic views of hills and snow-capped mountains. Upon reaching Lukla, we will begin trekking towards Phakding. We will descend down to the Dudh Koshi River where we will get connected with the main trail of Namche Bazaar. Further, we will trek to Ghat and reach Phakding for the night stay.
Day 02 : Phakding (2610 m) - Namche Bazaar (3450 m) 6hrs
We will begin trekking along the river and further, go through a beautiful forest of rhododendron and blue pine. We will reach Benkar and get to see stunning views of Mt. Thamserku (6,623 m), Mt. Kusum Kanguru (6,367 m), and other mountains from here. We will then ascend and trek through the upstream on flat land, on the bank, to the fusion point of the Dudh Koshi River and Bhote Koshi River. Further, we will cross a suspension bridge and again ascend to reach Namche Bazaar where we will stay overnight.
Day 03 : Namche Bazaar (3450 m). Acclimatization day. Optional trek to Khumjung and Khunde village (4-5 hrs)Today is our rest day at the Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is one the main village of the entire Himalayan Region. It is also one of the biggest residing areas of Sherpa's. We will explore the village and go on the small hike to see the amazing views of snow-capped mountains like mt. Everest (8,848 m) and other Khumbu Peaks. We will then walk towards Thami where we will visit national park headquarters to look at the unique display of Sherpa culture or visit the lovely Bhote Khola River Valley.
Day 04 : Namche Bazaar (3450 m) - Tengboche (3860 m) 5 hrsWe will begin descending down the small villages and reach Shanasa. From here, we will trek towards Trashinga, and descend down to the Dudh Koshi River at Phunkitenga. Further, we will ascend through the beautiful forest of juniper, pine, rhododendron, and fir. We will reach Tengboche and greeted by the panoramic views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m), Mt. Kantega (6,782 m), and other mountains. Here, we will visit one of the oldest and major monasteries of this region, Tengboche Monastery. You will stay overnight at the lodge.
Day 05 : Tengboche (3860 m) - Dingboche (4410 m) 5 hrsWe will descend through the forest of fir, rhododendron, juniper, and birch at Debuche. Further, we will ascend all the way up, and then, cross Imja Khola. From here, we will head towards Pangboche where we will see a stunning view of Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m). Again, we will ascend and go through the hillsides and cross Imja Khola and finally reach Dingboche.
Day 06 : Dingboche (4410 m). Rest day. Optional trek to Chhukung Ri (5500 m) 7-8 hrsToday is our another acclimatization day at the Dingboche. We will wake up early in the morning and begin our day with a delicious breakfast. After that, will explore the area and go on the hike to Chukung. After spending some time, we will return back to the lodge. We will also get to interact with the locals and experience their lifestyle and culture.
Day 07 : Dingboche (4410 m) - Lobuche (4910 m) 4 hrsWe will begin our trek by ascending toward the drain of the Khumbu. We will then trek for an hour and ascend towards the Khumbu Glacier. Further, we will reach Dughla, and from here, we ascend steeply to the top of the moraine. Continue trekking on the flat land on the west part of the moraine, we reach Lobuche.
Day 08 : (4910 m) - Gorak Shep (5140 m) afternoon visit to Everest Base Camp (5360 m) 7 hrsWe will begin ascending towards Gorak Shep. We will ascend and descend through moraines and reach Gorak Shep. From here, we will trek towards the world famous Everest Base Camp (5,380 m). The trail will be rocky and covered with snow. Upon reaching EBC, we will see the enchanting views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m), Mt. Kangtega (6,782 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Nuptse (7,861 m), and many other mountains. After spending some time on the Everest Base Camp, we will trek back to Gorak Shep where we will going to stay overnight.
Day 09 : Gorak Shep (5140 m) - Morning visit to Kala Patthar (5550 m) - Trek to Lobuche (4910 m) 6 hrs
We will wake up early in the morning, have our breakfast, and begin our hike towards Kala Patthar (5,545 m). We will get to witness 360-degree views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m) and other surrounding mountains. After spending some time on Kala Patthar, we will head back to Gorak Shep, and continue trekking towards Lobuche where we will stay for the night.
Day 10 : Lobuche (4910 m) - Dzongla (4830 m) 5 hrs
After having breakfast, we will begin trekking towards Dzongla. The trail will descend through the rhododendron bushes and small villages. From today onwards, the trail is relatively less crowded. We will reach Dzongla where we will stop for the night.
Day 11 : Dzongla (4830 m) - Dragnag (4700 m) via Cho-La pass (5420 m) 7 hrs
Today is going to be the tough trekking day. We will begin trekking through spur and then descend to a basin. From here, we will ascend to the Cho La Pass, and as we will gain altitude, the views become more mesmerizing. Upon reaching the top, we will see numerous prayer flags, flapping with the flow of the wind. We will then descend on the rocky trail and reach Dragnag village where we will stay for the night.
Day 12 : Dragnag (4700 m) - Gokyo Lake (4750 m) 3 hrsWe will trek and reach at the edge of the Ngozumpa Glacier, which is the longest glacier of Nepal. We will trek and reach the other side of the glacier from where we will see the second lake. A short trek will take us to third lake, Gokyo Lake where Gokyo Village is situated.
Day 13 : Gokyo Lake (4750 m). Rest day. Climb Gokyo Ri (5360 m) for views of Everest and Cho Oyu. Round trip 3 hrs
We will wake up early in the morning and begin trekking towards Gokyo Ri. We will get to see Thonak Tsho Lake (forth lake) and Ngozuma Thso lake (fifth lake) on the way. Moreover, we will also see panoramic views of Mt. Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Cho-Oyu, Mt. Nuptse, and Mt. Makalu, and other several mountains from the top of the Gokyo Ri. if the weather is favorable, we might trek to the sixth lake as well.
Day 14 : Gokyo Lake (4750 m) - Lumde (4380 m) via Renjo-La Pass (5360 m) 7-8 hrs
We will wake up early in the morning and have our breakfast. After that, we will begin ascending on a steep trail to reach the top of the Renjo La Pass. From the top, we will get to see the captivating views of mountains like Mt. Everest, Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu. Furthermore, we will also see enchanting views of Gokyo Lakes, Rolwaling, and Rermo Pokhari Lake. After spending some time of the pass, we will descend towards Bhote Koshi Valley. The trail from here will take us to Lumde where we will stay for the night.
Day 15 : Lumde (4380 m) - Thame (3820 m) 4 hrs
We will descend down to the Thame village. Upon reaching the village, we will visit an old monastery and explore the village. In the evening, we will get to witness gorgeous landscapes with the Himalayan mountains. We will stay overnight in this village.
Day 16 : Thame (3820 m) - Pachemuche Tsho (4780 m) 6 hrs
We will ascend towards Pachemuche Tsho where we are going to stay for the night. The trail will be pretty easy and present us gorgeous views of landscapes.
Day 17 : Pachemuche Tsho (4780 m) - Ngole (5110 m) 3 hrs
We will continue ascending through rugged trail covered with small boulders in many sections. The trail will mostly include uphill climb and take us to Ngole, our last destination for the day.
Day 18 : Ngole (5110 m) - Tashi Labsta Camp (5665 m) 3 hrs
We will wake up early in the morning to trek towards Tashi Labsta Camp. We will begin our trek early to avoid the windy trail during the afternoon. The trail will be a little difficult but, the views we will get from the base camp is unspeakable. We will stay for the night here.
Day 19 : Tashi Labsta Camp (5665 m) - Glacier Camp (4735 m) via Tashi Labsta-La pass (5755 m) 8-9 hrs
The first half of the trek is ascended and take us to Labsta La Pass located at 5,755 meters. From here, we will begin descending to the Glacier Camp along with the pleasant views of the mountain landscapes.
Day 20 : Glacier Camp (4735 m) - Na Gaon (4180 m) 7 hrs
After having breakfast, we will begin trekking. The trail will descend through forested trail and small villages and take us to Na Gaon where we will stay overnight.
Day 21 : Na Gaon (4180 m) - Dokhang (2791 m) 7 hrs
The trail will be going to presents pleasant views of the surrounding. We will descend along the river bank and reach Bedding. From here, we will cross a thrilling bridge over a deep gorge. Further, the trail descends through rhododendron forest and take us to Dokhang where we will stay for the night.
Day 22 : Dokhang (2791 m) - Simigaon (2036 m) 5 hrs
After having breakfast, we will head towards Simigaon. The trail will go through several small villages where we will see locals doing their daily activities. Further, we will trek along the Rolwaling River and reach Simigaon where we will stop for the night.
Day 23 : Simigaon (2036 m) - Bulungse (2000 m) 7-8 hrs
Today is going to be a long day. We will descend to Bulungse along with the beautiful views. Upon reaching, Bulungse we will freshen up and rest for a bit. Later, we will explore the region and end our day with a filling dinner.
Day 24 : Bulungse (2000 m) - Loting (1768 m) 6 hrs
We will begin descending towards Loting. The trail will include small villages and rhododendron & pine trees. We can see the high Himalayas on a far distant along our way. We will reach Loting where we will stop for the night.
Day 25 : Loting (1768 m) - Bigu Gompa (2516 m) 5 hrs
Today, we will ascend and descend a few times to reach Bigu Gompa. Upon reaching here, we will explore the village and also visit an ancient gompa. We will see monks praying inside the gompa.
Day 26 : Bigu Gompa (2516 m) - Sano Jyandan (3127 m) via Tinsang-La pass (3798 m) 7 hrs
We will begin our day early in the morning as we have to cross a pass today. We will ascend on a steep trail through rhododendron and pine forest and reach Tinsang-La Pass. From the top of this pass, we will get to see amazing views of the surrounding. We will then descend to reach Sano Jyandan, our halt for the day.
Day 27 : Sano Jyandan (3127 m) - Borderlands or The Last Resort (1170 m) 6 hrs
Trekking through the rhododendron, pine & fir forest, we will descend Borderlands. On the way, we will also cross several villages. The trail will be a little difficult as most parts of the section include steep descend. Upon reaching Borderlands, we will rest and also prepare to leave tomorrow.
Day 28 : Drive to Kathmandu by bus (4 hrs)
After having breakfast, we will drive back to Kathmandu. The route will be scenic. Upon reaching Kathmandu, we will move to our hotel and rest for the day. In the evening, we will go on the farewell dinner and stroll on the lively streets of Thamel.
